- In Alta Solutions, the tech would be the one pick up the client’s call. And the tech who pickup the call is familiar with the client’s IT setup so he/she can start helping the client without time spent for background check.
- For providing Premium Service, the team have to be small. Our target team size is less than 10 persons.

Founder and Managing Director - Walter Lam
Walter started working as a network engineer in Toronto, Canada in 1999 after having 10 years sales experience in Hong Kong. He discovered his talent in inter-networking when he set up his home network after migrating to Toronto from Hong Kong. He acquired his CCNA/CCNP in 6 months by self-study. Then he was employed as Network Engineer in Bridge2Market, an Internet startup funded by Reach In Motion (RIM).
Walter worked in different IT related roles in Hong Kong since 2002 included Business Development Manager in Expert Systems, Technical Manager in Intellitech System, Project Manager in Principle One, and Senior Technical Support Analyst in Brevan Howard.
Walter is a Scout Leader of New Territory 1782th Scout Group. Where he leads a group of primary school boys and girls enjoying the informal education of Scouting.
Walter is married with Joey. They have a boy 14-year old and a girl 12-year old. They enjoy hiking in the weekends all around Hong Kong. Every year Joey and Walter would leave the kids at home for a couple of nights for preparing Oxfam Trailwalker, a 100KM charity hiking event which they have been doing 10 years already.
